![]() Available Information Items from SDFA In connection with the administration of 1915 Act assessment districts and community facilities districts (Mello-Roos), SDFA makes available certain information to property owners and other interested parties. Among the items that can be accessed on this site are Notices of Special Tax (and Assessments), Payoff Quotes and Continuing Disclosure Reports. Additionally, our clients may access additional information items that pertain to their public agency.
If you are a property owner or other interested party and would like to view the special taxes or assessments that are levied against a particular property, please identify the assessor’s parcel that you would this information and then click on the following link (Please note that the ACTUAL taxes indicated on this website are often less than the MAXIMUM tax allowed and should NOT be used for disclosure purposes). To obtain the applicable MAXIMUM tax rate you will need to download a Notice of Special Tax. Also please note that the only charges available on this website are those for which SDFA is responsible for computing and do not reflect all fixed charges that may imposed on a particular parcel.Annual Disclosure Reports Pursuant to the provisions of amended Rule 15c2-12, the issuer of bonds is required (for certain debt issues after July 3, 1995) to prepare and disseminate to the secondary market on an annual basis, a continuing disclosure report. If you are a bond investor or other interested party and would like to download at no cost the latest annual disclosure reports, audited financials or Notices of Significant Events related to a particular bond issue that is secured by taxes or assessments administered by SDFA please click on the following link. Notice of Special Tax (NOST) or Notice of Special Assessment NOSA) Special Tax or Special Assessment Payoff Quote (1915 Act Assessment Districts or Mello-Roos Districts) Pursuant to Section 8681.5 of the Streets Highways Code, any assessment bond, or portion thereof, may be redeemed in advance of maturity on any interest payment date. Additionally, some Mello-Roos Districts formed under the Community Facilities District Act of 1982 allow for the prepayment of the special tax obligation.
